While we recognise the important role that marks and honours play in a student's life, we also recognise the fact that they are not everything. The mission of Vivekananda Residential School (VRS) is to provide stimulating educational environment so that children can develop their latent talents. Acknowledging a broad and multifaceted definition of potential, the school recognizes, singly or in combination, creative and productive thinking, talent in the visual and performing arts, leadership and psychomotor ability, in addition to general intellectual ability and academic aptitude.
The whole school students are categerised into 4 houses and are named as Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz.
All the students will be divided into four houses to encourage internal competition among them. Progress of each group will be monitored carefully
Library is a room which contains collections of books, periodicals, for use or borrowing by the students or the members of this institution.
The school diary detailing all the regulations to the students, instructions or messages to the parents, pages for homework instructions, syllabus for examinations etc. will be given to each student. This is compulsory for every pupil
